JuicySMS Alternatives in 2026: Compare Features and Costs
JuicySMS (many people search for it as “Juicy SMS”) is an SMS verification service with a simple promise: you pay only when the SMS is delivered. It has numbers from a short list of countries, rents numbers by the month, and has an API.
That promise is good, but it is not the whole bill. What one code really costs depends on the country you can use, how long the number waits for the SMS, and what happens when nothing arrives. This guide reviews JuicySMS, lists its prices as we found them, and compares six JuicySMS alternatives on features and costs, so you can pick by facts, not by the lowest number on a homepage.
JuicySMS review: what you get
- Pay on delivery. The homepage says you pay “only for successfully delivered SMS”. Its FAQ adds that an order marked “Expired” is not charged.
- Fresh numbers per app. The FAQ says “each number is only used once for a given service”. When every number for an app has been used, that app shows as “Unavailable” until new numbers are added.
- Cheaper second codes. Since version 2.0 you can order the same number again for the same service at half the price, for a short time, until the number is refreshed.
- Many ways to pay. The FAQ lists credit card, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero, Apple Pay, iDeal and AliPay, with prices in US dollars, euros or pounds.
- Good reviews. Its homepage shows a Trustpilot score of 4.8. The site is available in English and 17 other languages.
What JuicySMS costs
The homepage says codes start “from €0.50”. Its services page, set to US dollars, showed these prices for most listed apps on November 3, 2026:
| Country | Price per code |
|---|---|
| United Kingdom (+44) | $0.53 |
| Netherlands (+31) | $0.53 |
| United States (+1) | $1.58 |
| Germany (+49) | $2.10 |
Rentals (“Rent Number”) are offered in the Netherlands, the UK and Germany: $15.75 for one month, $31.50 for three, $52.50 for six and $73.50 for a year. Auto-renew is optional, and there is a 3-day grace period to extend after a rental ends. Prices change, so check the live pages before you pay.
Why people look for a JuicySMS alternative
- A short country list. Its FAQ names the US, the UK, the Netherlands and the Philippines; the services page also lists Germany. If an app wants a number from India, Brazil or Indonesia, you need another provider.
- A 10-minute window. The terms say numbers “are provided for ten (10) minutes”. Some apps are slow to send, or you are slow to type the number, and the window closes.
- Refunds are case by case. Failed orders are not charged, but for everything else the terms say refund requests are handled “on a case-by-case basis”. A rental cannot be refunded once the number is assigned to you.
- Rentals start at one month. If you need a number for a few days, you still pay for a month, and only in three countries.
- No company name in the terms. The terms say they are governed by Dutch and EU law, but we found no legal entity or address on the terms page.
Price per try vs. price per code
The price on a homepage is the price of one try. What you care about is the price of one code that actually arrives. The two are the same only when failed tries cost nothing.
JuicySMS does not charge for an expired order, and neither does SMSZ: there, the money for an order with no SMS goes back to your balance by itself. With both, your real cost per code is close to the listed price. So the bigger levers are the country you choose and how often the app refuses the number. On JuicySMS, a UK number costs about a third of a US one. If the app accepts both, that choice alone cuts the bill by two thirds.
6 JuicySMS alternatives compared
1. SMSZ one-time numbers — more countries, same pay-per-code idea
Pick a service and a country from 130+ and see the price before you buy. The number waits up to 20 minutes for the SMS — twice as long as JuicySMS’s window. If nothing arrives, the order cancels and the money returns to your balance on its own. You can also cancel before the code arrives and get the money back. Sign-up needs only an email address.
Two honest limits: top-ups are in crypto (USDT, Bitcoin, Ethereum and other coins), so there is no card or Apple Pay option, and we show prices live rather than in a fixed list. Compare the price for your exact app and country on both sites.
Best for: apps that need a country JuicySMS does not have.
2. SMSZ rentals — from 12 hours, in 70+ countries
JuicySMS rentals start at one month in three countries. An SMSZ rental can be as short as 12 hours or as long as 12 months, in 70+ countries, and it receives SMS from any app for the whole term. Pay for the term you need, renew if you need more, and turn on auto-renew only if you want it. See the “Rent Number” tab on the home page for today’s countries and terms.
Best for: a number for a week or a few months, without a monthly minimum.
3. 1001SMS — another stock of numbers
1001SMS sells one-code numbers and rentals in popular countries. When an app shows “Unavailable” on one site, another site often still has numbers for it. A small balance in a second place saves you from waiting for a restock.
Best for: a plan B when your first choice is sold out.
4. SMSZ free numbers — a $0 test
Not sure an app will send a code to a virtual number at all? Test it with the free numbers first. They cost nothing because they are public: every message shows on an open page. That makes them fine for a test and wrong for any account you plan to keep.
Best for: finding out if an app works before you pay anything.
5. Other SMS verification services
Many marketplaces sell codes from dozens of countries. They differ in stock, number type and refund rules more than in price. Our guides to SMSPVA, SMS-Man and Quackr alternatives cover the main ones and what to check before you top up.
Best for: comparing a wider market.
6. Your own SIM or eSIM
A monthly plan costs more than any code, but some accounts are worth it. Banks, your main email and anything you use to recover other accounts should stay on a carrier number you will keep. Read virtual number vs. second SIM to decide.
Best for: accounts you cannot afford to lose.

How to keep SMS verification cheap
- Test for free first. If the app refuses a public number, it may refuse virtual numbers in general, and you saved the price of a paid try.
- Pick the cheapest country the app accepts. The same code can cost three or four times more in one country than in another.
- Buy one code when you need one code. A monthly rental for a single sign-up is money spent on days you will not use.
- Rent when the account will ask again. Paying twice for one-time numbers, then losing the account because the old number is gone, costs more than a rental.
- Top up small. Keep a small balance on two sites rather than a big one on one. Cheap SMS verification is mostly about not paying for codes that never come.
Questions people ask
Is JuicySMS legit?
It is a working service with clear basics: you pay for delivered codes, its terms are published, and it shows a strong Trustpilot score. The terms do not name a company, so keep your payment receipts and read the rules on refunds and rentals before a large top-up.
Are JuicySMS numbers real mobile numbers?
Its FAQ says yes: “All of our numbers are real mobile numbers!” We did not test this ourselves. If an app refuses the number, try another country or check how to tell if a number is VoIP.
Can I re-use a JuicySMS number?
For a short time, yes: you can order the same number for the same service again at half the price. Once the number is refreshed, that option is gone. For codes over weeks or months, a rental is the safer choice.
Why does JuicySMS say “Unavailable”?
Because each number is used only once per service, an app shows as unavailable when all numbers for it are used up. You can ask its support to add more, or order the same app from another provider right away.
Does JuicySMS refund money?
You are not charged for expired orders. Other refund requests are decided case by case, and rentals are not refunded once the number is yours. On SMSZ, a one-time order with no SMS is refunded to your balance automatically; the rest is in our Payment & Refund Policy.
What is the cheapest JuicySMS alternative?
There is no single answer, because every provider prices by app and country. Compare the live price for your app in two or three countries, and count only codes that arrive. The cheapest option is the one that delivers on the first or second try.
