Why we built this
Almost every app asks for your phone number when you sign up. But your number says a lot about you. Companies use it to connect your accounts across different websites. If it leaks in a data breach, spam and scam calls follow for years. And you cannot simply change your number the way you change a password.
SMSZ fixes this. We give you real mobile numbers from more than 100 countries. You use one to receive your verification code and finish your signup. Your real number stays private, shared only with the people and services you truly trust.
What we offer
- One-time numbers — a real number that receives one verification code. You see the price before you buy. If the code never arrives, your money goes back to your balance automatically.
- Rental numbers — a number that stays yours for days or weeks. It can receive any number of messages from any sender.
Our numbers come from several independent phone providers. That is why coverage stays wide: when one provider has no numbers for a country, another usually does.
How we work
We collect almost nothing
A privacy service should not collect piles of personal data. To create an account you need an email address — nothing else. We store only what the service needs to run. The details are in our Privacy Policy, written so you can actually read it.
You never pay for nothing
You pay for messages you receive, not for tries. If a number fails, the money returns to your balance on its own — no support ticket needed. The full rules are in the Payment & Refund Policy.
We tell you the downsides too
Virtual numbers are not right for everything, and we say so openly. Our guides tell you when not to use a temporary number — for banking, government accounts, or anything you cannot afford to lose. Your long-term trust matters more to us than one extra sale.
What we do not allow
SMSZ is for honest use: protecting your privacy, keeping work and personal life separate, testing your own apps, and signing up for services fairly. Fraud, spam, harassment, and getting around bans are against our Terms of Use. We close accounts that break these rules. The service stays reliable for everyone only when abuse is kept out.
